Largest darts tournament in Europe

Last year Italian Darts Championship for Teams, an event that is traditionally held in Bolzano, offered a new record in number of players that participated in this great soft-tip darting tournament. No more or less that 5.472 players competed last year. So, what new record this year's event could offer?
The answer is - 324 electronic dart machines on which the tournament was played, which is really amazing number. Most of them, precisely 300, were transported from Zagreb, Croatia, where the headquarters of Cyberdine, world's largest manufacturer of electronic darts machines, are situated.
It took huge fair hall of 7.500 square meters to put all of the machines. Organizer of the tournament, FIDART, governing body for soft-tip darts in Italy, had to pay 46.000 Euros for a one week rent of the hall. It is discount price because it was rented for an sporting event, otherwise the price would be three times higher.
Tournament gathered about 5.000 players from all over Italy. Beside National Championship for Teams, with participation of more than 600 teams, tournaments for singles and doubles were also held.
STAZIONE, a team from Pordenone for which plays Italian National Team player Patrick Susanna, won in prestigious Elite category. They beat DART BROTHERS in the finals, while DRAGOON PUB and BULL OUT finished third and fourth respectively.
Winners in other three categories were as follows: URAGANO CERES (Serie Master), PICCADILLY DARTS (Serie Amatori) and ALKYMIA DART (Serie Mixed).
