Euro Team best in elite category

For the second year in a row, Euro Team was best in elite category at the EDU Eurocup that was played in Prague. Total of 48 teams applyed for A category, with Euro Team beating Slovenian team Astro Caffe in the finals.
Led by Mensur Suljovic, Jose Luis Rodriguez, DJ Westermann and Chris Kotal (fifth member was Marco Schuy, and sixth captain Franzi Adelsberger), Euro Team had to go through the left side after defeat by the Czech team Staroholicka. But in the end it showed that it is almost impossible to beat such a collection of stars twice at the same tournament.
Staroholicka was third and Italian champions Stazione fourth.

In the B category Czech team DC Fanda Sokolov (Pavel Abelovsky, Vratislav Kral, Petr Krivka, Pavek Bujacek, Andrej Lanyi) beat their compatriots from DC Letna in the finals. Croatian teams Panda ZKM from Zagreb and Fortuna from Rijeka finished third and forth respectively.

In the C category Croatian team Club 57 (Dalibor Beneta, Neven Krnic, Ivica Krnic, Josko Krnic, Dario Kartelo, Niko Krnic) beat PK Senica of Slovenia in the finals. It is interesting that Club 57 has five players with the family name Krnic, and they all come from a litlle village called Krnici (near Sibenik) that has only 25 houses. For such a small place to have a european champion is a great pride.

Another Croatian team, Vrbik-04 from Zagreb was third, and another Slovenian team, PK Strela 3, was fourth.
Womens competition was totaly dominated by Czech teams which won first three places. Big Sisters beat KARLOVKY TEPLICE in the finals, while TULI TULI was third. Fourth place was won by Hungarian team SCHWARZ BLUMEN.

Total of 133 teams participated in four categories of EDU Eurocup.
